Philips IntelliVue G1 and G5 anesthesia gas modules

IntelliVue G1 and G5 anesthetic gas modules measure the five most commonly used anesthetic gases, as well as nitrous oxide (N2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2). The waveforms for the gases are displayed on the patient monitors (sold separately). Practical for lower acuity settings, but available with advanced capabilities that make them practical for higher acuity environments.

The measurements of the IntelliVue G1 single agent gas module are manually selected by the physician, while the IntelliVue G5 automatically identifies agents and has mixed agent-measurement capability. A rapid oxygen measurement (O2) based on advanced technology is optionally paramagnetic with the G1 and is included as standard with the G5.
