The DRE Trax is a versatile and intuitive vital signs monitor that can be configured to measure any combination of non-invasive blood pressure, SpO2, rapid temperature and capnography (EtCO2 monitoring). The Trax simplifies the use of the doctor by incorporating a touch screen with a simple user interface.

The Trax is ideal for bedside measurement in post-anesthetic low acuity care, sleep studies and patient transport, and is applicable in many other areas of care. The Trax can be configured as a basic continuous pulse oximeter or a combined pulse oximeter for blood pressure. EtCO2 can also be added as a third parameter. The Trax can be used only with EtCO2 as an independent capnograph for specialized clinical applications.

Description

Weighing less than 3 pounds, the portable Trax is well suited for any area of patient care. Wall mounts and mobile mounting solutions are available. A long-life lithium-ion battery is standard.

The non-patented sample lines allow the Trax to be the lowest-cost end-to-end CO2 monitor in the industry. The capnography system is a state-of-the-art, low-flow CO2 measurement system. It uses a lateral flow method of 50 ml per minute to provide the most accurate EtCO2 readings. It can be used in both intubated and non-intubated patients. The sample line connection system uses filter cells to eliminate the potential for cross-contamination.
