The pump and syringe modules are designed for facilities that use infusion pumps and / or syringes for the delivery of fluids, medications, blood and blood products by continuous or intermittent administration through clinically acceptable routes of administration; Such as, intravenous (IV), intraarterial (IA), subcutaneous, epidural, enteral or irrigation fluid spaces. The pump and syringe modules are indicated for use in adults, pediatrics and neonates. Up to four pump and / or syringe modules can be connected to the Alaris system.

• The syringe module is intended for facilities that utilize infusion for the delivery of fluids, drugs, blood and blood products by continuous or intermittent administration via clinically acceptable routes of administration (e.g., intravenous, intraarterial or enteral).
• The syringe module uses a unique pressure detection disc that shortens the alarm time, accurately monitors line pressure, reduces delays at the start of infusion and decreases the involuntary bolus after the occlusion is released.
