The user interface of the A5 and its ergonomic design simplify the workflow. The 15-inch touch screen allows doctors to easily select ventilation settings, so less time is spent on maneuvering and more time is devoted to patient care. The A5 provides a range of advanced ventilation modes that allow effective care across the full range of patient acuity types. Integrated spirometry offers additional information and improves careful decision making.

Description

Auxiliary oxygen / air flow meters provide mixed gas through the nasal cannula, allowing the clinician to maintain their preferred clinical practice without increased risk of surgical fire. The A5 complies with the IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) Patient Care Domain (PCD) profile. A5 is capable of issuing data in the industry standard HL7 protocol. HL7 with the IHE profile PCD is recognized by the anesthesia information and electronic medical records (EMR) systems as the proven industry standard for unambiguous interoperability.

The wide working surface of the A5, the comfortable footrest, the central brake and the integrated cable sweeps improve the mobility of the device.
